The Junior Welfare League of Enid is an organization that has been giving to our community for a long-long time. Before I did this video I had an idea of what and who the Junior Welfare League was. Now, after meeting these ladies and learning about their programs, history and character; I realize that my first impression was way-short of the mark. These girls are “hard-working-fund-raising-machines” that provide invaluable services to the Enid community.
They are “making a difference” right here for our children and citizens, and they have been doing it since the 30s. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know these ladies during the production of this video. These women are truly beautiful inside and out. The Enid Junior Welfare League makes me proud to live in Enid. If you watch this video you will understand what I am talking about!

If you have never seen a Miracle League Game right here in Enid Oklahoma than you are truly missing out on a very special experience. The Miracle League was established to give every child, even those with limited abilities, the opportunity to play America’s favorite past time; Baseball. AMBUCs and 4RKids are raising money to install a smooth-seamless surface that will make the baseball field at Enid’s ABC Park more accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. This is so very important to our Enid Miracle League children, friends and family, not to mention, our community. It’s endeavors like this that remind us of what a great community we live in.
